My name is Stela Kordic, I have a Master’s degree in Nutrition, and I’m a professional Chef.
I created this blog to share my knowledge about food and my love for cooking.
I was born in Munich, Germany, with a Bavarian pretzel in my hands. After two years, I moved to Zagreb, where I grew up in a big family. Watching my grandma prepare delicious meals for all of us made me appreciate home-cooked food from a very early age, and being so many of us, it meant that something was always cooking!
After getting my Master’s degree in Nutrition, I realized I was still missing a few pieces of the puzzle, so I decided to enrol in Le Cordon Bleu London, one of the top cooking schools in the world. That allowed me to work in some of the best restaurants in the UK and Croatia.
Now I’m bringing to you simple and tasty recipes created with the highest respect for the ingredients, their nutritional value, potential health benefits, and last but not least, their excellent taste.
Through stories about different ingredients, nutrition topics, and talks with experts in various fields, as well as some of the greatest chefs of our days, I hope to give you a better insight into the rich world of food.
Learning about food, choosing the proper cooking techniques, discovering new flavour combinations, and enjoying and sharing is what this is all about.
After all, diversity, balance, and moderation can be fun, attractive, and flavourful!
