Pedesetih i \u0161ezdesetih godina pro\u0161log stolje\u0107a, ameri\u010dki proizvo\u0111a\u010d posu\u0111a Nordic Ware, inspiriran nama bolje poznatim kuglofom, po\u010deo je proizvoditi gotovo identi\u010dne aluminijske kalupe pod za\u0161ti\u0107enim imenom \"Bundt\". Poga\u0111ate, kalupi su ubrzo postali veliki hit na ameri\u010dkom tr\u017ei\u0161tu te su popularni i danas.<br>Kuglof se u Njema\u010dkoj, Austriji i \u0160vicarskoj naziva i \"Bundkuchen\", \u0161to obja\u0161njava podrijetlo imena ovih kalupi\u0107a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dok za kuglof postoji specifi\u010dan tradicionalan recept na bazi kvasca, Bundt kalup se mo\u017ee koristiti za pripremu razli\u010ditih recepata i to ne samo slatkih, ve\u0107 i slanih. Ukoliko ne slijedimo recept za kuglof, a pe\u010demo ga u kalupu koji neizmjerno podsje\u0107a na njega, dobit \u0107emo Bundt tortu.
